Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of content on Lee County Court Docket. Accessing the website means you accept them. If you disagree with any condition, discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and run. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body or court. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners offer services meant for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We exist to help visitors find court dockets and case-record resources in Lee County and Georgia. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government or court affiliation. It neither stores official records nor has authority to retrieve a docket, file a document, or alter a court date.

Its limited function is routing: Lee Superior records go to Sara Clark's office and PeachCourt, while other Lee County court classes use their own clerks and systems. Outside tools may also be linked as optional research services.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is supplied only as general information about Lee County docket access. It cannot replace an official docket, a court order, or advice from counsel. Treat it as an initial reference and verify material facts with the court or responsible clerk.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

No website content constitutes legal advice. General Lee County docket explanations cannot determine how a charge, order, case, or deadline affects a particular person. Consult a Georgia-licensed attorney for that analysis.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Dockets change constantly, cases are filed, hearings are set, settings get reset, and matters are sealed, dismissed, or amended. We try to keep up, but gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court or clerk. Always verify a docket entry or court date with the court that holds the case before you rely on it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

We link to clerk of court sites, trial court portals, statewide case-search systems, legal aid organizations, and outside search services across this site. Clicking one of those links moves you off our platform and onto one we have no control over. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether their site stays online. Check their terms before using them.

8. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Lee County Court Docket or our content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or build on our content without getting written permission first.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site disclaims liability for harm arising from its use, including action taken in reliance on site content or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless against claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the website or breach of these conditions, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Georgia law governs these terms, and any dispute arising from website use must be brought in a court located in Georgia. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. ยงยง 50-18-70 through 50-18-77, and Uniform Superior Court Rules 21 and 21.6 govern access to relevant government or Superior Court records; they do not make this private site a government custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revision becomes effective when the updated text is posted on this page.
